Service Description: <div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>The data were collected to map out the heterogeneity in the enhanced heating in urban settings, known as the urban heat island, in the City of Wilmington and other urban centers in Delaware. The heterogeneous distribution of heat throughout a city due to variations in geography and land-use results in residents facing disparate exposure to heat extremes. The results indicate the areas where the urban heat island is most extreme in this region. It also may assist those providing cooling services, emergency managers, planners and policy makers determine how best to respond to extreme heat.</span></p></div></div></div>
