Comments: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided their Future Flood Risk Datasets (FFRDs) to the State. The FFRD was a point shapefile with a permutation of return periods and sea level rise values for SWEL and TWEL. Using funding from FEMA's Cooperating Technical Partnership (CTP) grant, the State hired a contractor to interpolate and extrapolate these SWEL and TWEL values. The result was a raster to the extent of flooding for each return period and sea level rise scenario for SWEL and TWEL.
Subject: Raster files that show the still water coastal storm water elevations (SWEL). SWEL includes storm surge and tides but no wave contributions. Also, total water coastal storm water elevations (TWEL) are included. TWEL is SWEL plus wave contributions. Rasters for a permutation of sea level rise values and return periods for SWEL and TWEL are included.
